HUGE DONATION FROM MILLER HOMES (November 2025)
We applied for a community grant from Miller homes and we were incredibly lucky to be selected for £566 donation from them. We were amazed last week when they contacted us to say they'd increased it to £1000.
We've covered all ages and now have an absolute haul of incredible gifts to bring to the appeal.

NEW 'SHOP FOR US 'PAGE (August 2025)
Something else new has arrived. We now have a gateway page that supporters can use to access Amazon, Ebay and our website, all from the same place. When you do this, those sites give us a donation for everything you buy. The best thing is, it costs you ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to use. It also costs us absolutely nothing to run. THE 2025 CAMPAIGN IS OVER! (December 2025)
Thanks to everyone who took part in our biggest campaign to date ! We helped a record number of agencies - nearly eighty in total and over seventy volunteers joined us over the three days. In addition, we were joined by Radio Nottingham who did a full live show from the appeal on our first day. Let's do it all again next year :-)

THIS YEAR'S COLLECTION DATES ANNOUNCED (December 2025)
We are staying with the long-established practice of holding the three days in the first full week of December. This means it's very early. In fact, it's as early as it can get! The three days are Tuesday, 1st December, Wednesday, 2nd December and Thursday 3rd December 2026. The venue, as already stated, is at Bilborough parish church as usual. Please book the date and the place into your diary so that you can join us!

WE ARE NOW A CHARITY (December 2024)
At last we are registered by the Charity Commission AND we have a bank account! This will give us the opportunity to raise money ahead of the actual appeal, budget more easily and calculate how many agencies we can provide for.
This will be a massive bonus in all stages of planning.
It also means we can save for a year in the run up to Christmas, which ultimately means us having more resources at our disposal.
We would like to offer you the opportunity to donate or set up a regular payment to the appeal. This may suit those people or organisations who want to help but don't have much time or find budgets stretched at Christmas.
